It's been over a year since I updated my journal. So what has happened since then?
I've finished editing my fantasy novel, and I am about to send it out into the real world. Hopefully some kind soul will give it a home, so stay tuned for updates on that.
I have also been attempting to write every day, to keep myself in mental shape. Hence the barrage of poetry that you have probably been studiously trying to ignore, if you are watching me. Sorry about that! Strangely enough, I've discovered that poetry is becoming much easier to write than it used to be. In the month since I have started my writing "workout", it seems that the world has come into a different focus. Wherever I am, and whatever I'm doing, poems seem to be lurking everywhere around me, just waiting to be written down. I have no idea if this will continue, but for the time being I am going to enjoy it as much as I can.
